What to expect from a Profhilo BODY course
Consultation & preparation
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and ibuprofen, aspirin, vitamin E and fish oil for 48 hours beforehand where it is safe to stop them. Wear loose clothing that gives easy access to the area being treated, and come well hydrated.
During treatment
Aftercare
Small injection bumps settle within 24 to 48 hours. Avoid pressure and massage on the treated area for 12 hours, and skip saunas, steam rooms, intense exercise and alcohol for 24 hours. Firmness and texture improve gradually over the weeks after each session.

Profhilo BODY is priced as a course of two sessions, four to six weeks apart, because the collagen stimulation depends on the second session building on the first. The facial protocol is shown alongside it for comparison.

Which body areas can be treated?
Profhilo BODY is formulated for larger areas and is used on the arms, abdomen, buttocks and thighs. The arms are the most commonly requested, since crepey skin above the elbow is often the first place patients notice a change. Dr Harriet will assess which areas are appropriate at consultation.
How is this different from the facial treatment?
It is the same underlying approach with a formulation and injection pattern designed for larger surface areas. The facial protocol treats the whole face through a small number of set points; the body version distributes product across a wider area. Pricing differs accordingly, at £600 for a course of two sessions.
Will it tighten loose skin after weight loss?
Not significantly. Profhilo BODY improves the quality, hydration and firmness of the skin, which helps with crepey texture and mild laxity. It does not address substantial skin excess, which requires a surgical solution. Dr Harriet will be straightforward with you at consultation if she thinks it will not deliver what you want.
How long do the results last?
The results can last up to six months or more depending on individual factors, and they develop gradually over the weeks following the second session rather than appearing immediately. Most patients repeat the course to maintain the collagen and elastin stimulation.
