Medical-Grade Skincare
Medical-grade skincare in London is the daily foundation that in-clinic treatment is built on, planned personally by Dr Harriet and delivered to your door through a secure patient portal.
The short answer
What medical-grade skincare is
Healthy skin is the foundation of any in-clinic treatment. Imagine going to the dentist twice a year and then not brushing your teeth in between. Unthinkable, and the same logic applies to skin.
Patients often come to Dr Harriet having spent considerable time and money on over-the-counter products with disappointing results. From acne and pigmentation through to overall skin ageing, she advises on skincare that actually works, and she offers a complimentary personalised skin assessment and plan to every patient she sees in clinic.

What to expect from your skin plan
Consultation & preparation
Come to your appointment with a clean face where possible, and bring a list or photographs of everything you currently use on your skin including cleansers, actives and sunscreen. Note down anything that has irritated your skin in the past.

Aftercare
Your bespoke plan arrives via WhatsApp through the GetHarley portal after your appointment, with instructions for usage. Introduce active ingredients gradually rather than all at once, and use daily sunscreen throughout. Get in touch if anything irritates your skin.

FAQ
Medical-grade skincare FAQs
Does the clinic offer skincare?
Yes. High quality skincare is essential for your long term skin health and appearance, and maintaining it with clinically effective products is crucial to getting the most out of your aesthetic treatments. Dr Harriet offers a complimentary personalised skin assessment and plan to all patients she sees in clinic.
How do I order and reorder products?
Your bespoke plan is sent to you via WhatsApp through GetHarley, a secure patient portal. You can check out securely and replenish from anywhere, and products arrive at your door with instructions for usage. You do not need another clinic appointment to reorder.
Can skincare alone fix my concern?
For some concerns yes, and Dr Harriet will tell you when that is the case rather than recommending a treatment you do not need. For others, skincare is what makes an in-clinic treatment work better and last longer. Acne and pigmentation in particular often respond well to the right topical plan.
What if I already have a skincare routine?
Bring it, or photograph what you use. Dr Harriet will assess what is working and what is redundant, and will often simplify rather than add. Patients are frequently using several products that duplicate each other while missing one that would make a real difference.
